Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Angles, 2011, Domaine Nicolas Rossignol
There is hint of lactic fermentation aromas to the otherwise ripe nose of red and dark berry fruit.
There is a textured, even silky mouth feel to the round, delicious and vibrant middle weight flavors that possess a core of ripe tannins that are well-integrated on the palate coating finish.
This may be fine in time but it's atypical at present.
