Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru Les Serpentières, 2013, Domaine Pavelot
Note: from a .17 ha parcel
Here the nose is slightly reduced though it's sufficiently light that I suspect that it has more to do with the just finished bottling than anything more serious; do decant it though if you can't wait to try a bottle! Otherwise there is good freshness and verve to the delicious, round, supple and stony middle weight flavors that possess a dusty palate feel on the ever-so-mildly dry finish.
While it's possible that the dryness is sulfur related my sense is that this would be better consumed in its youth than held for the mid to longer-term.
