Meursault-Les Chevalières, 2013, Domaine Jean Phillippe Fichet

Note: Fichet says that these vines directly abut Charmes and are his oldest as they were planted in 1918

Reductive aromas are framed by toasty oak nuances though there are no such issues with the richer and more voluminous medium weight flavors that exhibit excellent persistence on the markedly dry but not really austere finale.

This is a bit more structured than the Meix and should be held for a few years first as this is still quite tight.
