Corton Pougets Grand Cru, 2006, Domaine Hubert de Montille

A deft touch of wood frames equally elegant, airy and pure red berry fruit aromas though here there are more evident earth and game hints that also characterize the minerally, intense and dusty flavors that possess fine depth and length on the slightly chewy and only moderately ripe structural elements.

To be clear, this is not under ripe but it would also be fair to say that there are other wines in the range where the tannins are riper.
