Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, 2013, Domaine Morey Coffinet

Burghound.com Tasting Notes:

Note: from a purchase of must in Pougets and Languettes

The cool and restrained nose exhibits a slightly odd note of melon rind that isn't unpleasant but it is curious. Otherwise there is good punch, size and muscle to the textured and mineral-inflected flavors that conclude in a delicious but not especially complex or vibrant finish.

To be sure this is perfectly good but it can't begin to compete with the Pucelles or Bâtard.
