Chambolle-Musigny (Half-bottle), 1993, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé
Tasting note: As with all the de Vogüé 93s, this displays intense, pure but very tight fruit and focused, delineated and fine, medium weight flavors that offer impressive fruit/acid balance. Structured yet harmonious and this should continue to improve for another 5 to 7 years, perhaps longer. Few villages level wines successfully improve beyond 10 years but this will be one of them.
