Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir, 2007, Domaine des Malandes
Note: from a .90 ha parcel planted in 1967 and 1987 and matured in 1 to 5 year old oak
A gently wooded nose combines notes of mineral reduction, green fruit, dried flower and quinine aromas that lead to delicious, concentrated, punchy and powerful medium full-bodied flavors that deliver real drive and energy on the tangy, bright and palate staining finish that offers up plenty of Chablis character.
I really like the personality and there is just another level of depth here relative to the 1ers.
