Bourgogne Blanc Vieille Vignes, 2013, Domaine Jean Phillippe Fichet

Note: also 100% from Meursault vines but from soil with much more gravel and rock content

Reduction. As is usually the case there is more volume and mid-palate concentration to the citrusy and lightly mineral-inflected flavors that terminate in a lingering, delicious, complex and notably drier finale.

This is one to look for as it delivers excellent quality for its level. Note that my range assumes that the nose will clean up as it should.
