Beaune 1er Cru Les Bressandes, 2013, Domaine Pavelot
Note: from leased vines
This too is exceptionally cool and fresh with its expressive array of red cherry, plum, earth and discreet notes of violet and lavender suffused aromas.
Once again there is fine richness to the utterly delicious and lightly mineral-inflected flavors that possess a bit more complexity on the equally persistent and slightly austere finale where just a whisper of dryness appears
As the description suggests the balance isn't spot on perfect but this is still very pretty - just don't age it for more than a few years
